Signs and Symptoms of Internal Bleeding
Anti-clotting medications can result in a variety of side effects, some of which are very serious and even life threatening. Being aware of these side effects and symptoms can help to reduce the risks of internal bleeding while taking these medications. Some of the less severe side effects are stomach pain, nausea, and heartburn; however, if any of these persist or worsen over time, a doctor should be notified.
